More commonly than a full tip break is when just the very tip (vertical section) of the Ivory tip breaks off. This is referred to as the Tip/tip. It is a fairly simple repair, that should not go untreated as damage can occur to the explosed wood.

What to Expect:

A piece of mastodon ivory will be used to replace the broken tip/tip. It will be dyed to match the color of the original tip if necessary. If left unrepaired, irreversible damage to the wood can occur- greatly devaluing the bow.
