If you choose NOT to use our custom shipping tube (you're in a hurry and don't want to wait for us to send it), and would like to ship to in your own carton, please use these suggestions below for the best way to ship your bow.

1. It is best to use a "FedEx Shipping Tube" (long 3-sided box), and ship FedEx Overnight for the best chances of avoiding damage to your bow. While this is an expensive choice (roughly $20-$30), it is the best option.
2. Another trick is to place the "Fragile Glass" stickers on your box to ensure better handling.
3. Be sure to fill in the appropriate insurance amount on the shipping label.
4. Insurance through the postal carrier is OK, but most times will not provide sufficient covererage. Your bow WILL be covered under OUR insurance policy WHILE IT IS IN OUR POSESSION. While it is in transit however, it is up to you to insure it. We suggest you use an outside insurance agency for your bow if its value is greater than $500. Some of the most popular are Heritage Insurance, Merz-Huber Insurance, and Clarion Insurance.
