rehairLeaving the grip to wear anymore than it has in the picture can result in damage to the stick which is a costly repair and can devalue the bow greatly. If your grip is looking like the one to the right, don't put it off "one more time" - it will ultimately cost you more in the long run.

What to Expect:

You have the choice of two different types of leather for your grip. The first is made from goat skin, the second of lizard. The bow to the right has a lizard grip. Both make superior grips, but each has its own pro's and con's.
Goat: This grip is typically softer, with more cushion, making it a thicker grip. It has excellent "bite," but does not last as long as lizard grip.
Lizard: This grip is thinner and tougher. It will last longer, but costs more and is typically more slick in texture.
