If when turning the button to tighten the hair the screw mechanism seems to be stripped and is not bringing the hair up to proper tension, chances are the frog eyelet has become worn and stripped.

What to Expect:

We will replace the original eyelet with a brass eyelet purposely designed to wear over time thereby preventing wear on the more expensive "screw" of the button. We will custom fit this eyelet in order to obtain a smooth running frog along the stick. Please be sure to send us your entire bow, even for work only being done on the frog. This is important for a correct fit to the bow.
