Master Bowmaker Ron Forrester
Mr. Forrester learned the art of bow making, rehairing, repairing & restoration while working in New York City with the celebrated bow maker Yung Chin. During his seven-year tenure at Yung's shop, he had the great fortune to work with some of the world's top string players. In 2001, he opened his own shop in Ringoes, New Jersey.
He is an elected member of THE AMERICAN FEDERATION OF VIOLIN AND BOW MAKERS, and he serves on the board of the International Pernambuco Conservation Initiative.
